It's time for the annual Top Five Awards!

Without any delay, let's take a look at the Top Five Awards for 1999...
Top Five Rappers: 1. Eminem- The guy came out of nowhere and established himself as one of the illest mc's out there. Sure he says some weird stuff, but he does it with style. 2. & 3. Redman and Method Man- America's most blunted duo shotgunned us with their first collaborative album. 4. Jay-Z Stayed on top with a plethora of club-friendly singles. 5. Notorious B.I.G.- Unfortunately he's dead, but he's still better than most living rappers.
Top Five Hot Chicks: 1. Jennifer Lopez- With a new singing career, she gave everyone a chance to fall in love with her again. 2. Salma Hayak- Showed up in Dogma, hotter than ever. 3. Rebecca Gayheart- She's my favorite, shut up! 4. Katie Holmes- Her moody attractiveness helps make Dawson't Creek something to look forward to every week. 5. Brittany Spears- This blonde bombshell invaded everyone's consciousness this year. I didn't mind.
Top Five Movies: 1. South Park- This musical was the funniest and most shockingly raw entertainment found anywhere in 1999. 2. Fight Club- An amazing plot twist helped this thriller stand out. 3. Blair Witch Project- Singlehandedly ruined the camping gear industry. 4. The Spy Who Shagged Me- Mini-Me could very well be the most laugh inducing character of all time. 5. Dogma- Another Kevin Smith gem... this time with real actors!
Top Five Disappointments: 1. Episode I- Sucked. 2. Wu-Tang Clan- five albums and none of them lived up to the standard of excellence established by prior Wu releases. And they bailed out of the Chicago ComicCon. 3. Stone Cold Steve Austin- I know it's not his fault, but I miss seeing him kick ass. 4. Wasteland- My girl finally gets her own show and they cancel it after three episodes? That's why nobody watches ABC. 5. Carson Daly- This idiot fell off the lucky tree and hit every branch on the way down. I guess that's why this no-talent jerk is still on TV.
Top Five Wrestlers: 1. The Rock- Anybody disagree? 2. Rob Van Dam- He held onto his ECW Television belt all year with the help of his trademark "Vandaminator". 3. Goldberg- A gold coin buried in a pile of shit. 4. Triple H- "The Game" is the best heel in wrestling. 5. Mankind- From heavyweight champ to best-selling author. Go Mick!
Top Five Things about 1999: 1. Wrestlmania 2000 for N64- WWF characters, customized wrestlers, great graphics and simple controls make this the most electrifying video game ever. 2. Blackout Album- Redman and Method Man gave us the best hardcore hip hop album of 1999. 3. Dawson's Creek- They don't talk like anybody on the planet, but I love the kids from Capeside anyway. 4. The Tom Green Show- Anybody who's seen it knows what I'm talking about. 5. Me- Don't worry about it.
